With this pattern, you can
make my 10" tall stuffed teddy bear!
To make this bear, you will
need:
140 yards of brown worsted weight yarn (Vanna's Choice© baby yarn in
Chocolate Cake was used as the main color)
25 yards of acrylic yarn (Red
Heart Super Saver Solids© in Buff was used as the contrasting color)
a 4.00
mm crochet hook, or size 6
20" of black yarn (to embroider the eyes and nose,
or use 12.00MM plastic craft eyes and 10.00MM nose)
hypoallergenic polyester
fiber-fill (or poly-fill)
A darning needle
Stitches you need to
know:
Half double crochet (abbreviated HDC)
Single Crochet (abbreviated
SC)
increasing (abbreviated SC 2 IN NEXT ST)
Decreasing (abbreviated
DEC)
Chain stitch (abbreviated CH)
Slip stitch (abbreviated SS)
Magic
ring cast on technique (abbreviated MR)
