So, every time the Olympics comes around, Ravelry.com has what is called The Ravellenic Games. It's an event for knitters and crocheters to challenge themselves: To finish those socks that have been on your needles forever, to crochet that prayer shawl you always wanted, and the list goes on. You can learn a new technique, practice old ones, ETC.
The games don't officially start until Feb. 7th, but there is a category for projects started before but finished during the games. I plan on entering this:

It's an unfinished hat. I'm only up to the brim, but I plan to finish it early on in the games (which might not happen, considering I am also planning to knit a shawl). I'm using my own design, which granted it works out, will be posted as a free pattern.
I'm working on some mittens! I finished one of them already, and they work up pretty quickly. This (like the hat) is my own design, and it too will be posted as a free pattern.
Here is another little alien thingymababa! The wool I used is super soft. I made this guy's eyes a little closer than the other one I made, and I think it makes him look cuter.
That's all for now :)
